Hey friends! I have made the decision to modify my hours on holidays. For the last few years, I have been hosting Thanksgiving and Christmas because- as you know- it's a busy time! I want to be available for my clients, and in doing so, I'm not able to leave my house on the holidays. There just isn't time between people dropping off and picking up their pups! As some of you know, my grandpa has dementia and is getting older. He can no longer come to my house because of the steps. This year, I will not be able to host the holidays.
And I'm not willing to skip my family time for my job.
I love my job. I am SO grateful that THIS is how I make a living. I am SO grateful that you trust me with your pup and that your fur babies have become my fur nieces and nephews!
But I will be spending the holidays with the human family who have raised me and helped me to achieve this life. This a last minute realization. As the day got closer and plans needed to be solidified, it became clear where my limitations were and what I was giving up in order to be available for my clients. I wont implement these hours until December 1 and I will find a way to make it work for this Thanksgiving, but moving forward, all holidays will have reduced hours.
Pups will be able to be dropped off or picked up between 7am-10am and between 7pm-9pm. I know you guys understand and I am incredibly thankful for the amazing group of clients that I have the privilege of working with/ for every day. For clarification, that doesn't mean I'm going to be GONE between 10-7, but during that time I will be on my own schedule! This means I can ensure the dogs are taken care of, go to my grandpas house for food, cook for my mom and brother, and not be worried about having to rush back to meet someone who wants to pick up or drop off their pup at a specific time. I'll be able to come and go as it's best for me, my family, and the dogs!! So don't worry about the pups being left alone that long, they wont be! Thank you all so much!!
